Strange times call for super teams. What the heck, COVID-19???

These times are weird, but #teamsoulspring is doing everything we can to make things less weird.

If you’re ever concerned about coming into the office, let us know. We can always switch your appointment to telehealth for your comfort and safety, and the safety of our staff and clients. If you want to join us in the office, we’d love to see you. We really would, but we need to you adhere to our In-Office Informed Consent policies first.

The following safety precautions are in effect during the COVID pandemic. We ask that you all adhere to the guidelines so we can #slowthespread and keep everyone safe. Not everyone has the same immune system, and we want you to remember that even if you are feeling fine, you could still be sick. If you’ve been exposed -- or if you think you have -- please connect with us about a telehealth session.

Please check these guidelines, which are also posted in our offices to help keep everyone safe.

Here are SoulSpring Counseling’s Pandemic Policies for clients and staff:

  • Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing. Please do not rearrange the seating.

  • Masks must be worn in the waiting room.

  • Our staff maintain safe distancing.

  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained by the Landlord and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands both before entering and after leaving the office.

  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms and the waiting room.

  • We ask all clients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times.

  • The coffee pot, door handles, and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized at the beginning, end, and throughout the day.

  • Physical contact is not permitted between client and staff.

  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a daily basis.

  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

  • If a SoulSpring Counseling staff member, or one of the members of their households, test positive for COVID, we will stay home until we are medically cleared to return to the office.

  • If a SoulSpring Counseling staff member, or one of the members of their households, is experiencing a fever of 100F or higher, shortness of breath, and/or cough, we will stay home until symptoms have subsided.

  • Certain frequently touched items, such as pens, magazines, candy, etc. have been removed from the wait room until further notice.

  • All toys used during Play Therapy sessions will be sanitized after each child. Play therapist will maintain physical distance from child during sessions.

We know you’ll understand what we mean by this... with all due respect for the health and safety of everyone, if we believe that your presence in the office poses a health risk, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the office and we will gladly see you via telehealth. Safety first! We gotta beat this virus down so we can get back to some dad gum normal!

What will happen at the office?

When you join us in the office, you’ll notice informative signage and reminders around the office. You’ll also notice that our team is putting the above regulations in place. If you have any questions on how you can stay safe at our office, send us an email to chat.

At #teamsoulspring, we’ll get through this together. When it comes to your mental health and your physical health, we’ve got your back!

Stay safe and stay sane!
